Webinar: Embedding technology for independent living: Implementation guide

Published April 2025.

Medway Council has made a series of high-impact changes to their adult social care services over the last year, with significant benefits for their residents’ independence. They are using technology to support many people to live safely in their homes for longer, considerably reducing higher needs care referrals and helping to prevent crisis events. In turn, they have achieved over £1.5 million in cost savings and avoidance in one year.

Join our webinar to understand how Medway Council has embedded new technology to enable cultural change and encourage scaling, with the support of assistive technology partner, Kyndi, and remote monitoring technology from Lilli. There will be new insights, engaging discussion and Q&A on the fundamentals of successful technology implementation in social care services with an expert panel.

Lilli is a home monitoring solution that uses AI and sensor-based technology to enable independent living. It supports local authorities to deal with demand by right-sizing care packages and reducing referrals to residential care. Economic analysis predicts that Lilli could help save over £4bn for councils and the NHS over the next 10 years, and save 2.3 million hospital bed days.
