Social care showcase webinar
Recorded 23 January 2024
The next instalment of the series and last to be chaired by the Chief Social Worker, hosted by SCIE, focuses on data and how it can be used to improve outcomes for those needing support. Client-Level Data (CLD) is the first national collection of person-level social care records, covering requests for support, assessments, reviews and services provided or commissioned by local authorities as part of their duties under the Care Act 2014. CLD can help us understand local authority social care activity better, and provide timely, detailed information on people who use adult social care.
This webinar is presented jointly by DHSC’S Client Level Data team and representatives from local authorities who demonstrate how they are already using accurate data to shape and improve their operational performance, in turn leading to better outcomes for individuals.
