Freedom of information
The Freedom of Information Act provides the right to ask any public sector organisation for the recorded information they have on any subject. Although SCIE is a charity, a percentage of our work is publicly-funded and, as such, the Board and management want to follow best practice in this area.
When making your Freedom of Information request, you should include your name and address, as well as a detailed description of the recorded information you want. Costs may be incurred and we will let you know if this is the case. We can also discuss how to make information available in different and accessible formats.
